What affects pricing

  • Volume of debris
  • Whether debris is in the front yard ready to load or in the back yard

Storm cleanup and yard debris in North Texas

North Texas weather makes yard debris removal a regular line item for most homeowners. Spring storms drop branches and take out fence panels. Summer heat kills shrubs and leaves brittle limbs that come down with the next wind. Fall brings leaf cleanup. Winter ice storms occasionally bring whole trees down. Texas Junk Boyz handles all of it. Same day storm response when crews are available, flat rate quotes, and we bring our own chainsaw and loppers.

Fence damage is one of the most common cleanup jobs we do. A typical 6 foot privacy fence panel runs 8 feet wide and weighs 50 to 80 pounds. If three or four panels came down in a storm, that is a half load of debris between the panels, the cap rails, the broken posts, and the splintered concrete footings. We can pull and haul the damaged panels and get the property ready for a fence contractor to install new ones. We do not install fencing ourselves, but we can refer to local contractors.

For brush and tree debris, we route to local mulching facilities when the material is clean (just wood and brush, no fence panels or trash mixed in). Mulching turns the debris into landscape mulch instead of sending it to the landfill, which is the better outcome environmentally. For mixed debris with metal, plastic, or fencing components, the load goes to the C&D landfill.

We do not fell live trees ourselves. If a live tree needs to come down before we can haul the debris, we can refer to a local arborist. Once the tree is on the ground in sections, we are the next call to remove the wood. We have done many post tornado and post wind storm jobs across Tarrant, Johnson, and Hood counties.

Common questions

Answers, no run-around.

If you don't see your question here, just call or text. We're happy to walk through it.

How much does yard debris removal cost?

Most yard cleanup jobs run $149 to $479 with Texas Junk Boyz. Storm cleanup with downed trees and fence damage can hit $599 for a full load. We quote after photos.

Do you do storm cleanup same day?

When crews are available, yes. After major storms we book out fast, so call early. We service Burleson, Fort Worth, Mansfield, Arlington, Cleburne, Crowley and the southern DFW metro.

Can you remove old fencing?

Yes. We pull down damaged panels, remove posts (concrete footings included), and clear the line. We do not install new fence, but we can refer you to a local contractor.

Do you take sod and dirt?

Small loads yes. Large dirt loads are tonnage heavy and may need a dedicated hauler or a dumpster rental. Send photos and we will tell you what works.

Do you mulch or recycle yard debris?

When the material is clean (just wood and brush), yes. We route to local mulching facilities. Mixed debris with fencing or trash goes to the C&D landfill.

Do you remove live trees?

No. We do not fell standing trees. If a live tree needs to come down, hire an arborist first. Once it is sectioned on the ground we will come haul the wood.
